More About Henry:

Henry is our resident dog. He came to Merlin’s in August 2021 after being picked up as a stray in the adjacent village.  He looked very healthy so we were more than a little surprised when routine blood tests showed that he had leishmania.  He has undergone his treatment and is a picture of health now - our vets have said that he is ready to be rehomed.  He only needs blood tests every 6 months to check that his count is remaining stable which Merlin’s will contribute to.

Henry is very friendly and loves people but he can be a little shy.  He prefers to be with one or a few dogs rather than a big pack.  He is calm natured and would make a great companion for people who are at home and enjoy long walks and cuddles.

In addition to adoption, we would also consider long term foster in Cyprus so that this boy can enjoy the comforts of a home.
