Bridget was rescued from a hell pound in the mountains here in Cyprus. She was kept in awful and filthy conditions, and locked in a cage 24/7. Thankfully she made her way to Merlin's through the help of multiple rescuers elsewhere on the island. When she arrived she was totally shut down, she remained still and was terrified of anyone, such a heartbreaking thing to see.

Over the weeks she has been with us, she has made incredible progress, and it's truly amazing to see her personality start to come out. She is so much better with people, and will now come to those she knows. She's becoming more playful with the other dogs, and we are seeing much more tail wags! She's a lovely dog, a real gentle giant, and we think with some patience she will make someone very happy. A truly rewarding dog to give a forever home to.
